Sarah Kramer
Resident Artist / Dancer
Sarah is a founding member of alight dance theater. She is a Development & Production Associate at Dance Place in Washington, D.C. Sarah graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.A. in dance and a classics minor. Sarah has worked with such artist as Nancy Turano (Buglisi Foreman), Elizabeth Koeppen (Parsons), Elizabeth Roxa (Ailey), Elisa Clark (Morris), Nejla Yatkin (NY2 Dance), Colleen Thoman (Bill Young/ Colleen Thomas and Dancers) and the Liz Lerman Dance Exchange.
Sarah will be performing in Monica Warren Schaeffer's Shadowmark at Next Reflex Dance Collective's Places in Space program at Dance Place in Washington, D.C. on June 18 and 19, 2011. She is also cast in Angella Foster's Truth Be Told, which will premiere at Dance Place in Washington, D.C. on January 21 & 22, 2012 and then be restaged for the Greenbelt Arts Center on February 17 & 18, 2012.
